My current thoughts on a rainy day

Hello world! I'm not sure if anybody has even seen this yet but someday I'll see this again. Blogging is like an international diary but it's relieving to just say what I'm feeling. Rainy days are especially good for thinking when it's summertime cause there's not much else to do. As a teen in a family where I have to work, I'm taking this morning time as me time. It's important where we prioritize our time but today, this morning, my priority was my time with God and taking care of myself. It's hard for me to do that sometimes but it's so worth it. I'm kind of just ranting right now but that's what this blog is for. I'm a girl who has a lot to say when there's nothing else to say if that makes sense. This world is a social mix of so many diverse people but there are things we all have in common and that's just insanely cool to me! Like I know my ranting and I my mind just doesn't turn off is a trait many women in particular share, not all women, but some. That's just kind of what my mind is thinking about right now and it's just weird but cool that we all are similar but so unique at the same time. Anyways, I'm going to go and enjoy eating some rice! Bye everyone

The downsides to summer for a high school student

So, by the title to this page I'm sure you're very confused as to how a teenage girl could have anything negative to say about summer but here we are. The biggest downside in my opinion is that it doesn't last as long as it should. School can be a detrimental part of life, especially to a girl like me who is introverted, and summer should be extended. Another factor that summer can be a bummer is the fact that I don't do anything except work and then go to camp. This is an issue on my part but something I know many people my age struggle with. Someday I hope to fix this but I'm really bad at creating and keeping conversations going. If you're a parent reading this I suggest you help your introverted children with reaching out and getting involved. At school I get involved in theater and choir, etc. but at home I don't have those things around anymore. This kind of has to do with where I live but more summer activities for youth should be started up. These are kind of my thoughts today as a 16 year old, who is currently bed rotting :) cya guys later!
